Voici Chez moi! Many have asked for pictures of my little apartment, so here they are. Please note I had to lean out the window to even get a shot. I would like to highlight my lovely basil plant, which is usually on the verge of death because of my poor gardening skills. She lends her few tiny leaves to my yummy meals, created in the “kitchen” tucked beside the shower. One of the many domestic pleasures of my Parisian chic studette.

Only you could turn such a small space into such a lovely home!
Dear sister,
I have discovered the root cause for why the basil had tiny leaves this last summer. It was a different variety called thai basil.

I know the view is completely different, but this little room reminds me a little of your little garret at the Ramp! It looks like you get great light, which is necessary to a sunny outlook on life!
Hannah,
It’s cozy to say the least. But it looks very nice and the view is simply gorgeous. I especially like your “kitchen”. Maybe if you gave your basil plant a name, it would be happier. Also, Miraclegrow works wonders as well- it’s just not as cool as giving your plant a name.
Your room is so cute, and I second Bethany: it reminds me very much of your cozy little nook at the Ramp. Wish I could visit!
It is kind of like my little nook . . . though minus the world’s greatest Rampmates (like roommates but so much better)! You are welcome to come any time — just bring your violin and you could fund the whole trip!
“Rampmates!” I love it! SO much better than roommates, and *volumes* better than “housemates” . . . Good point about Elyse being able to fund her trip with her strings . . . You should do it, Lil’ Elyse!!
Oh my – that is a very small space! Where do you actually prepare your meals – I see the stove but no counter. Is there a table? It makes me feel alittle sad for you….however any future apartment you have will seem gloriously large by comparison.
[…] slob, but living entirely on my own brought out a truly organized neat person. I may have only had 10 square meters to call my own in Paris but there was a dish sponge and a surface sponge, a dish-towel and a hand towel, but they Did. Not. […]

[…] I last lived here. Last night I climbed up the back stairwell, all the way up to the floor where my tiny apartment was. There is just something about this view that will never get old to me, no matter how many […]
